Concept
‘ish Watch’
A watch that takes inspiration from the idea that ‘fashionably late’ in India has been replaced with ‘predictably late’, due to constant issues on roads that can range from cow blockades to politician escorts.
Instead of typical times, the numerals have been offset and attributed with the suffix of ‘ish’ to indicate it is ‘sort of near’ the right time.4

Designed for
Western consumers.
The watch itself is designed to be quirky and interesting, but not to operate as a dependant watch. it is something that could be bought as a gift for someone who is interested or has travelled to India.

Points of interests
Takes something from Indian culture/life (massive delays in commuting) and designs a product around it for western consumers.
