Part 2 – Gardens by the Bay – National Parks Board & Grant Associates

Planned from 2006 and built on reclaimed land in 2012, Gardens by the Bay is a feat of architectural and landscaping design.

Located on the bank of the Marina bay in Singapore, the design was produced by a whole bunch of designers from numerous fields of study, the project directed namely by Kenneth Ernand and Andrew Grant of ‘Grant Associates’. The park was created to raise the profile of the city and inject natural life into the inner city.

Gardens by the Bay is the first and largest of three planned gardens to be created in inner Singapore.
