Part 2 – Modern Rickshaw – Enoch Morishima

Enoch Morishima’s design brings the traditional rickshaw layout into the 21st century, powering the transport medium using a new age robotic arrangement.

The design is focused on inner-city use, for shorter commutes. The designer looks to make use of Honda’s technology advances in their other transport mediums to create a safe and efficient method of moving reasonable distances in minimal amounts of time. The original design was created specifically for the Malaysian market but has since been realised as having many applications.

This progressive design also has the added functionality of being able to disconnect the cabin part of the rickshaw from the front end, allowing it to be attached to another form of transport.
